{"product_id":"colombia-rigoberto-diaz-navarro","title":"Colombia - Rigoberto Diaz Navarro","description":"\u003cp data-start=\"98\" data-end=\"278\"\u003eHello! \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"98\" data-end=\"278\"\u003eWe're back with new coffee on our menu! \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"98\" data-end=\"278\"\u003eIf you've been following our journey from the beginning, chance is high that you've heard about us working with Azahar coffee based in Colombia. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"98\" data-end=\"278\"\u003eThis is our second coffee sourcing from Azahar coffee and Paul's good friend\/ mentor, Ryan Knapp.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"98\" data-end=\"278\"\u003eThis coffee is special because of couple different reasons\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003col\u003e\n\u003cli data-start=\"98\" data-end=\"278\"\u003eIt is from Yacuanquer, \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eNariño where Paul's one of the favorite region in Colombia with high altitudes and vibrant cup quality.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli data-start=\"98\" data-end=\"278\"\u003eOne of the main things that we were looking at when we bought this coffee was '\u003cspan style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"\u003e\u003cem\u003eThe Pickers' Project\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e.'\u003cbr\u003eTPP started in \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eNariño in 2018 as a pilot program, and now it's expanded to Huila with non-profit foundation '\u003cspan style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"\u003e\u003cem\u003eManos al Grano Foundation\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e.'\u003cbr\u003eTPP started to provide better, training program focusing on best harvest practices. \u003cbr\u003eAnd in 2025, TPP were able to support 128 pickers across 34 farms throughout \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eNariño and Huila with full-time salary, benefits, healthcare and ongoing training. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli data-start=\"98\" data-end=\"278\"\u003eOn the second slide, you can see the names of the pickers who were the very first to touch your coffee. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ol\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis coffee is not as expressive as some of our past offerings, but it is such a daily driver for us past couple of weeks.\u003cbr\u003eIts gentle yet vibrant acidity reminds us of quince, giving enough of acidity to enjoy this coffee from hot to cold. Sweetness reminds us classic caramel candy when hot and goes into nougat like as cools down.
