Peru - Yulisa Carhuallocllo

This coffee is a special one to Paul. 

When Paul was working for Madcap coffee in Michigan, Peru was their favorite origin (it actually still is. ) At Madcap, they carried two different coffees from Peru when Paul was there, Jose Rivera and Corazon. If they remember correctly, Jose Rivera's washed coffee was more of heavier notes with chocolate and berries, well balanced.

On the other hand, Corazon was something that's ingrained in their mind with how fruity and vibrant it was. 
Corazon was from the farmer, Efrain Carhuallocllo father of Yulisa. 

With this background story, it made no sense for us to skip on Yulisa's coffee when we tasted as a sample, and of course it was our favorite on the table. 

This coffee's vibrancy is what we liked the most on the table. It stood out out of 3 different stunning coffees. 

It has lemon like acidity in the beginning that turns into purple fruit as cools down. 

Sweetness reminded us candy like Jolly Rancher, with round mouthfeel. 

We're really excited to share this coffee with you all and hope you all get to share this beautiful coffee from Yulisa with your loved ones. 

We highly recommend resting it for at least two weeks.
